Pas drijema, ona radi jogu. lijepa slika. lijepi pokreti. sve nekako lijepo, mirno i bez žurbe. nema dosade.

Since the beginning of the war, before the occupation of the Nazis with his brothers Ed and his mother moved to live in the family estate at Arnhem in Holland.

Five years of occupation were the most terrible period in the life of Audrey Hepburn, thinking she would say:

After the war, I was grateful to have survived, and realized that the most important thing in life - human relations. They are much more important than wealth, food, luxury, career, the most important thing in the world.
Family estate was confiscated and the family moved to a small farmhouse on the outskirts of Arnhem. Ed and his family was starving and ate old bread and lettuce, which were grown in the garden. In one winter supplies had to eat tulip bulbs. Later, Audrey Hepburn was the thinness of the consequences of impaired metabolism due to constant hunger.
